Senior Policy Course : November 7 - 10, 2017

On November 8, Opening ceremony of Senior Policy Course, as a part of the project ¡°integrated Rural Development Project with Saemaul Undong¡¯s Participatory Approach¡± was held.

Mr. Holywater OH, the Resident Representative of KOICA Office in Lao PDR, Yun Byung Doo, Korea institute for Rural Development, Mr. Bounai Nounouannavong, deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and Ms. Singkham KhongSavanh, Vice Governor of Vientiane Province attended the event.

The high-level policy training will be held in Lao-Korea Rural Development Training Center (LKRDTC), which was newly established in 2017 as part of Lao Rural Community Development Project. The training will be going on from November 7 to 10.

The participants of training are Representative of Vientiane & Savannakhet Province Local senior officials, provincial director and district vice governor who recommended by P.G., District vice governor who implemented SMU and Sam Sang Policy project.

Objectives

o Background/Philosophy of SMU, Providing basic knowledge on SMU action plan & implementation.
o Practical subject for Policy make activities to educate and train trainees as SMU instructors and for building
    self-confidence that can do spirit.
o Holding on training course such as how to linkage Sam Sang policy & SMU to solve a diversity of problems
