Establishment and Operation of Saemaul Training Center (STC), Lao PDRThe governments of the Republic of Korea and the Lao People's Democratic Republic agreed
to establish the Saemaul Training Center (STC) to train personnel in support of the Saemaul Movement
and to promote the Saemaul Movement as a means of accelerating rural development and
realizing the early eradication of poverty.
According to this plan, the construction of STC will start in 2016 and be completed in 2017.
From 2017, the STC training courses will be implemented in earnest for SamSang policy,
